According to a '97 Bosch ignition catalog, the 03 010 cap was used in virtually all SAABs from the earliest V-4s through '93 on all that had a distributor. The '78 book agrees. I didn't look in older books, but I take newer books with a grain of salt for the older cars, as I can tell you that the points that are listed in the '78 book for virtually ever V-4 would not have worked in my early '67 Red engined car. The first year of V-4 production saw 6 different distributors and as many different sets of internal parts. Once you get past about ten years, they aren't always accurate.
Rotors are another beast altogether. The '78 book doesn't even list the same rotor for all '73 99s, although the 04 032 number seems to cover most from 5/73 through '77. The '97 book lists a 04 033 for these same applications though '77, then shows a 04 038 from '78 through '80. Subsequent years of the c900 show different numbers for the rotor.
