Luke;
You've taken on a handfull! Pre-'75 99's are FAR more dufficult to do 900 upgrades to.
SO, answering #1, NO. There will be much fuss. The injecttion is different from either K-Jet (75> 8V cars) or LH (16V all), but it is very similar to LH, I just don't know if it will work w/ a Turbo. If D-jet will work w/ a turbo, then keep it and life just got much easier.
#2, I regularly run 15+ psi on my BSI20, but NOT w/ stock internals. I'd limit a stock BSI20 or BSI201's to 13psi due to the head gaskets. 16V (BSI202) engines will take much more (Dan? Anyone else on this?)
#3 There are big differences between >74 and 75> cars. I'd recommend just finding an aftermarket rear swaybar and improving the shocks and springs for now if the brakes are good.(they were good enough for Porsche and M-B!) I have a 73 EMS that I installed the vented brakes from a 86 T on. On the pre-75 cars you need a 75> steering rack to fit the later hubs, plus custom brake lines, 75> halfshafts for the later tranny, etc. I can't do the usual 900 rear axle swap due to the earlier design.
Hope this makes sense ; )
