Hi,

I wanted to see if anyone out there had any ideas for what the problem might be. Here's the deal:

1978 99T shudders under acceleration.. even light acceleration. I converted the car to a rebuilt 900T engine but kept the 4 speed 78 tranny. All the suspension bushing in the front were replaced with new rubber ones. New clutch, basically new everything on the motor.

What do you think? could it be the driver cups on the tranny, or the drive shafts? Steering rack play? Maybe I didnt tighten the front engine mount good enough.,., I'll check

THe whole car vibrates and rattles not too terribly, but bad enough to really think something is wrong. As soon as I;m up to speed and cruising. Its as smooth as can be. THis problem is particulary noticeable when I'm getting on the freeway.
