getting 99 into condition

After sitting for 2 years due to structural rust, I've finally got my 99 back. It seems to run fine, though there are a couple electrical gremlins at the fusebox I need to work out. What should I pay particular attention to, as I get it back into shape?
So far I have done a little electrical cleanup to get the gauges, radiator fan and cabin fan operative. I pulled the fuel pump and found that the rubber on the fuel pickup had turned partially to goo, so replaced it with a pickup from a 900. When I opened up the hard plastic of the old pickup, I found what appeared to be a blob of gelled fuel, and removed it. Tough to see much inside the baffled (metal) fuel tank, but I didn't see any more gel deposits. No obvious flakes of rust either, which I'm still concerned about.
I'll be changing the oil & filter, the fuel filter, and cleaning out the fuel injectors next.
Also, for wheels I no longer have my 8-spoke Ronals and I've had to put Aeros on. However, the 99's front hubs stick out and the wheel's center discs don't fit over them. Those hubs have about 3000 miles on them so I'd rather not replace them, but if I should want to do that - at some point - is it a straight swap with 900 hubs, or are there other parts (driveshafts...) that need to be replaced along with those?
Should I be concerned about more clogs in the fuel system? Is there a fuel additive I should run through it? Any other recommendations?
