Fuel lines are hard to replace directly but not impossible if you don't seek purety. VW cars from the eighties and early nineties have the same CIS fuel injection set-up, but they have stainless steel braided fuel lines. I'd seek out those first. You could also, using the ends on the lines you have, have stainless lines made for you at pipe/hose places where you live. (hotrod shops and 4 wheeler shops often make them as well.) Later 900s, up to 84-85 will have newer lines, and they are routed in a slightly different way, will work. You will need to make sure the fittings on the fuel distributor are swapped completely because the lines don't connect via banjo fittings on the "newer" versions. That being said, the 900 versions are not new and probably too brittle as well. Look up fuel lines in the archives and you may find more specifics.
