I'd say through the passenger door, based on experience.
If you do not have a sunroof (sunroof hole makes headliner shell extremely fragile), it is not even necessary to remove the seats, but just turn the front seats all the way to the back, and leave the backseat where it is. Just folding down the backseats doesnt make any space significant difference to rotate the shell out of the car.
picture is from a Saab 90, essentially the same space in interior, with backseat up, and front seats down.
