Hi, it has been many years since I've had a running 99, however i do recall the absolute best mileage i got was 30 mpg doing a steady 60 on the highway. The highest is what i recall with the most clarity, i suspect i got in the low 20s in town.
There are so many variables with gear ratios and tire sizes, that i suspect it would be hard to pin it down without you actually driving for a bit.
My 99s were generally 74s, by the way. I recall getting terrible mileage on my 79 900 (basically the same engine as the same year 99) due to low profile tires. That car was LOUD on the highway.
I'd be curious of others info about oxygenated gas as well. I want my 99 back on the road this year or else its going into the classifieds.
Scott
