There were two different fuel strainers available, but I can't say what years used what...but they are interchangeable. One strainer had a large mouth opening, but the port off the pump was small. That connector hose is tough to find(my 78T's turned to goo). The other strainers had the same size port as the one on the pump, so you just use a piece of fuel hose for the connection < I used this type to replace the one in my 78.
