I think the early model explanation is directed more to clueless owners of newer Saabs (NG 900, 9-3, 9-5, etc.) I'm not saying that all owners of newer Saabs are clueless, just the ones who post to this board in search of answers to their problems :-).C900s are similar to 99s in many ways and share certain parts, so I don't really have a problem with the occasional c900 question on this board. An example of a post I don't like is...
"The radio codes in my 95 Saab don't work, what do I do?"
I think some knowledge of Saab history should be prerequisite for Saab ownership, but that's just my opinion. There's nothing worse than a Saab owner who has no knowledge or appreciation for what they have. Also, people would at least know that single digits Saabs exist and all of hese silly posts could be avoided...
