Old Beck/Arnley part numbers are often the OEM manufacturer's part number, i.e. British Lockheed or Girling for brake parts. My catalogs are for '72 and '75 and they didn't renumber parts with their own numbers back then. Most wheel bearing and seal numbers in those books are standard international numbers that can be purchased at an industrial bearing supplier. I've just rebuilt 96 front hubs for someone and did 96 rear brakes and wheel bearings for someone else. All bearings and seals came from a bearing supply house, not an auto parts store, where they likely would have been more expensive, if they had them. All parts were in stock, even the big double race 95/96/Sonett front wheel bearings.
BTW, the 96 rear wheel bearings cross reference to a Fiat 850 and a MG-TC. Try going to NAPA for those. But with international numbers they shouldn't need the make and year of the car.
My sister told me today that back when she was driving her '68 96 Deluxe, her mechanic (after I moved away from Boston) used some Datsun parts that interchanged. I have no idea what parts they were. I've never known of such a thing until now, and I've been wrenching on these cars for 35 years, and I even knew her mechanic in the early '70s. I sent her to him when she needed a transmission.
