I'm working to rewire and clean up wiring in '59 93B. Looking at wiring diagrams for strokers, 93 and early 96, I find some show this resistor and some do not. My car has been 'converted' to a traditional Bosch 'blue' coil. Do I need to have the two coil power circuits? If so, why? And is this two supplies to the coil, resistor cicuit all the time, plus full power only when cranking, or does the system switch from one to the other. I'm fully capable, but a bit leery of the wiring 'search & repair' mostly from lack of experience. I have the car running for the first time with a straight circuit to the coil '+'.
