I totally forgot the instructions that chip had mentioned. I'm going to follow your instructions first thing in the morning. I did not know that an innocent looking carb throat can be a flaming volcano!
On a side note, when I had the engine running even though it was not running correctly, it seamed noisy. Am I right to think that a proper engine rebuilt on an old engine can never compare to the modern quiet engines? My engine mesures to specs with everything new or turned.
Just asking an opinion..
