I officially purchashed a '70 96 yesterday! I'm very excited about this car, I haven't had a V4 Saab since the '68 95 I drove in high school 7 years ago and that thing was rustbucket. Here are some photos I took when I went to sign the title yesterday:

Overall the car is extremely solid and should make a fun and reliable daily driver. As you can see, I need to install the trunk lid handle, stainless steel side trim, and passenger's side door panel all of which are included with the car along with some spare parts and manuals.
Improvements and specs include:
- 30,000 miles on completely rebuilt Ford V4 engine
- Smooth transmission with synthetic fluid, freewheel permanently disengaged
- Sachs clutch 2 years old
- New front brake pads
- Improved cooling system with re-cored radiator, electric fan, high pressure expansion tank
- Higher output 70 amp alternator from a 1991 Saab 900
- Weber 34ICH carburetor
- Pertronix breaker-less ignition
- Magnecor spark plug wires
- Bosch blue coil
- K&N air filter
- Recent paint job (2001)
- Tach/fuel and temp gauges from 96 Deluxe
- Sony AM/FM/Cassette in-dash, Kenwood 5” door speakers, Pioneer 6”x9” rear deck speakers driven by Blaupunkt 20 wpc amp
- Front bucket and rear bench seats recently re-upholstered
- New rear glass gasket and lock strip
-Jon.
