It's been 30 years since I had a stroker, but from your description, I am guessing the problem is in electrics somewhere. A connection that gets loose from vibrations or heat expansion and then regains contact when cold. Just a guess. Sometimes a coil that is getting old will work when it's cold and qujit when it's warm. Then again it could be a fuel delivery problem. check carb inlet, see if fuel is getting to the carbs. Buy a new fuel filter. Check the fuel pump. I give up! Throw the dice and take your choice.
