I vaguely seem to recall working on the same type of caliper on a 1971 Capri, but don't know if it was exactly the same. There are probably more V4 SAABs left around than 1971 Capris, so this may not make finding replacemet stuff any easier!
Did you lubricate the pivot bolt and sliding plate when you put yours back together? (using high-temp disc brake grease) This seems to help them work more smoothly.
I don't know what to suggest about the spring, other than take your other one to a good hardware store and see if you can find a match. The hardware store where I shop has a big board with more than 100 kinds of springs mounted on it; you match yours visually and then find the matching number in a cabinet. You might also try the McMaster-Carr website if you can measure the exact dimensions of your spring.
