JimH, Sorry but I believe that it is highly improbable (nothing is impossible, right?) You'd have to remove all of the securing screws, and then lower the pan, and there is almost no room to lower it. I can't imagine how you'd insert the rubber part at the rear bearing cap properly. Also you'd almost have to suspend the engine and remove the motor mount brackets and starter motor to slip in the new gasket. It would be akin to performing a magic trick. Cheers.
