Do replace the cap and rotor with Bosch. Replace the wires at the same time with a quality set, I like NGK, but they do not make a V4 set so you have to find a different set (maybe they offer a set for Capri V6, I don't remember what I have used) or NAPA Belden premium (same problem of no listing). You will need to work some to adapt non-specific plug wires to the V4, especially for #1 cylinder which needs an angle boot for alternator clearance.
Are you trying to save money or what? What you describe is most likely a plug wire problem. Maybe you did replace them and forgot to include that in your list, but if you did not, why not? That should be routine in my book for your problem. Sometimes, especially for the DIYer, replacing parts until the problem goes away is cost-effective because it is cheaper than paying a professional to accurately diagnose the problem. Carry on.
