Well I am a little unclear what you are asking. There aren't a lot of individual components to the Pertronix ignition systems that I have installed for my '60 95, just some small thingys to put in the distributor with wires to attach to the coil. Both failed sooner than I liked so now I am back to points. As far as I remember both lasted well over a year/8Kmiles. If I wanted to revert to this system which I don't and won't, I would simply carry a new complete kit. They run great until they fail, in my experience.
In my opinion, any ignition system that fails under 100K has a problem. In my practice I see many vehicles at 100-200K miles and more that have never failed for ignition trigger/module problems. My Pertronix failures have been in the 10=20K range so very disappointing as to durability. There has to be a better solution for a durable unit, but I have not found it.
If you are running Pertronix, just carry a complete spare, replacement is easy.
