I keep my idle above 1500 rpm to keep my oil pressure at about 10 psi. If I let it idle at 800 or so, the oil pressure reads about 2 psi. On the road, the highest it reads is about 20 psi. I plan to replace the bearings later this year, but I do keep driving it and I watch the pressure. I hope I'm not killing the engine, but I can't stop driving it 'cause it's too much fun :-)
