850cc ...looking with thermastat housing location upper left side; from lower middle spark hole (1) upper middle spark hole (2)left of #1 (3) diagonaly across from #3 (4) then (5) to the left of #2 diagonaly across from #5 (6) to the left of #5 (7) below and across from #7 (9) to the right of #4 is (10) (11) is the furthest left and (12) is the furthest right (first tighten to 22 lbs then 1/4 turn (= to 36 ft.lbs)* ON the 750cc engine...looking with thermastat housing location upper top ; from lower middle spark hole (1) lower left corner (2) is across from #1 (3) is below #2 and (4) is above #1 (5 is the upper right corner (6) is in the lower left corner (7) is the lower right corner and (8) is the upper left corner There are two types of bolts marked 80 and 100. #80 bolts are torqued to 47 ft lbs and the #100 bolts are torqued to 58 ft lbs In addition: Start aftrer assembly allow to warm up. Shut off allow to cool to at least 86 F Tighten all bolts again (without loosening them) an additional 20 degrees (850) ; to the prescribed torque (750) Repeat at 1200 miles (with engine cold).
