I'm just working through my 69 96 restoration and have found the following to be quite helpful and resourceful.
Don Levesque (dwlgrl@comcast.net) has a lot of used / new / fabricated parts. Easy to work with and fairly active on the Saabnet.
Mark Ashcraft - nice guy and good stuff

I think Jack Lawrence (MSS, Jamestown, NY) and Ashcraft are good for modified / standard parts for the V4. Both have machine shop capabilities which makes things quite easy as a one stop shop.
Tom Donney is a collector and great help as well.

You can also be somewhat surprise in that Napa can carry somethings...not the unique Saab stuff.
Depending on the needs...sometimes it's fair more cost effective to buy another 96 for something less than $500.
