I have been driving my '73 96 for almost a year now and have enjoyed every second. I even took it on a little trip - it is a blast to drive and is becoming one of my favorite cars to drive. A '79 900 GLE started it all.

I love driving it when I get snow too, but I'm in NC and snow doesn't accumulate too often here, and if I drive where the roads have been treated, I pressure wash it asap, plus they don't use much salt here. Where you live is quite different though. That salt is nasty stuff! I would at least wash the salt off asap & every time. However, you may not be able to wash all of it off.
