I've only owned one 95 and it came with worn out Armstrong lever shocks. I had them rebuilt and they weren't much better. At the time (probably around the mid-80's) there was another guy that offered a kit and I decided to try it out. For that one, you had to buy a hole saw of about 2 and a half inches in diameter and saw/drill down through. That was a bit of a pain and the hole saw was junk in the end. But what a difference! It transformed the handling. If I get another 95, it would be on my list to do. I know, I know, some of you love the Armstrongs. I just didn't have good luck with the rebuild.
I believe the Ashcraft kit is similar. And with them, you will have EXCELLENT instructions. Go for it!
Let us know how it goes- both the installation and the handling results.
