The diff is originally a Ford Escort GKN or a so called "English" diff..We know it is still in production for FIA Appendix K Historic cars. We also know that the spline is the same as some Ford units still in production and we know the spline is bigger than the "English" diff side gear splines. I've spoken with the guys making the GKMN version and explained to them they have the broach and that they can use the English side gears and just broach them and cut the circlip groove. Which they are willing to do.. So what is needed is for anyone interested to send an email to: Volvotgb@gmail.com and include your name, forum moniker and that your from saabnet as we are posting to all the FB groups also.
So after new years we can find out what a short run of these side gears can be done for... The final price of the side gears, planet gears, cross shafts, pressure ring disks, plates and postage is obviously still in the air but once we have a price for the side gears we can get the other item pricing hammered out pretty quickly.
