To continue what everyone has already said, most of the replacement-type parts (brakes, clutch, etc.) can be found. Add to the rust check inside the trunk, the shock towers and the battery tray.
The engine was also used as an industrial engine so parts can be found at places like Northern Power Products (search this board.)
The next weak point in this model is the transmission. You really can't do much to the transmission yourself unless you have the special jigs and fixtures so if you have transmission problems expect to spend $2000 for a rebuild. Also pay attention to the type of oil you use in the transmission. Regular gearbox oil is too heavy. Again, search this and the Sonett boards for transmission oil recommendations.
