VDO electric sender

If you use a temp gauge from a V4 96 "67 -'69, since it is electric, the sender to use is a VDO 323-420. It has the correct threads from the 2 stroke head works with the v4 gauge.
You do need to file off the first thread or two as the hole in the head is not threaded all the way to the bottom. This new sender has way more threads than the original nut that held in the capillary sender.
you then need to run power to the gauge in the dash and run a wire from the sender to the gauge.
This is the set up I have in my 1967 2 stroke.
