Around $7K for a completed engine IIRC.
I did find a block for under $500, seller says it includes crank, rods and pistons. Not sure if the block has been Magna-fluxed to identify cracks. Probably not.
I found a European site which offers machined heads, performance pistons, maybe stronger rods, and the cross flow intake manifolds; which collectively justifies Ashcraft's price.
I am hoping to find something complete but long abandoned that needs to be rebuilt.
