I saw a 95 in flagstaff AZ that someone had grafted on to 4wd subaru drivetrain. I have never seen a more butchered job. The flat 4 heads stuck into the front wheelwells. the body was lifted to clear the driveshaft and rear axle. It might be a good idea(??) especially if you have a sonnet with a rusted out pan. I think I took a picture I'll try to find it.
