Sorry to hear that its still running hot...
Things to try (in no particular order):
- Clip your thermostat so that its only a restrictor (no guts)
- Bypass the thermostatic choke (if you've got the manual option)
- Upgrade to a larger capacity oil filter
- sounds silly, but make sure that your coolant/heater hoses are attached in the correct order - especially at the thermo housing and the heater bypass.
- Add an oil cooler
- make sure that the shroud plates are attached on the sides of the radiator to force airflow through the rad.
- Upgrade to elec. fan
- make sure of correct mechanical and electrical timing
- carefully bleed system
- check pressure ratings of rad caps (upgrade to slightly higher pressure?)
That's all I can think of at the moment...
