Michael, you can get a good idea of the value with an Oldcar Priceguide available at the magazine section of bookstores. There are other similar publications as well. They will take into consideration the condition of the car as well. Usually they are pretty close to the going rate. I think the last time I looked a primo 99 EMS was valued at around $5800. As Konrad mentioned, it depends mostly on who is willing to pay what for the car. It would be easy to get insurance for a high value, but a buyer is another matter. Personally, I feel the 99EMS is a very underated model. When you compare it's performance, looks, and overall feel, a '75 EMS is still a truly modern car. I've compared my original '74 sales brochures with those in the showrooms today...add some airbags, cruise control, power steering, intermittent wipers...almost the same car. Try that with ANY car from 1975.
