Its not too tough. Gotta remove the front clip and pull the timing cover off. The major mod is that you need to hack off the "snout" that the fan bearing sits in on the timing cover (to make room for the fan). The resulting hole can be sealed with a freeze plug hammered into place (works great - looks pro). Then replace the timing cover as normal. The fan itself can come from any number of sources - I bought a "Spal" brand super-thin fan from a Hi-Po shop, others on this board have pulled fans from junkyards or 99/900 model Saabs. As long as the fan is in the 13" range, it should fit, regardless (thinner the better). It can be wired up to a dash switch or thermoswitch. You'll have to replace the (ex)fan belt with a shorter one that drives the waterpump and alternator only. That's it - easy enough! You can search this board for past posts on this issue, its come up a lot, and/or if you're interested I can give you the specifics of my own installation.
Good Luck
