reverse lights not working, 1967 96

I have a '67 2-stroke 96 and my back-up lights don't light. Where exactly is the pressure switch mounted and what's the best way to get to it and fix/replace? Is the switch located on the shift linkage? Is there a compatible replacement that can be bought at the local auto supply shop?
Thanks for the help,
Randy
