I have recently seen 2 99's in Australia with lots of rust, both of those cars were built in 1977. (one of them is my 02/77 EMS chassis number 997710....). Australian 99's are usually relatively rust free with the exception of my 77 EMS and this other 77 99 (which also maybe an EMS).
I also, have heard the rust-shipping-sea salt story before. Was it only the Belgian built cars that were susceptable to rust? Or were other 1977 99's also susceptable to rust?
