I've got the older style.The weight of the car...that's a pretty slick trick. I had a bit of a delay getting a new throw out bearing, so I thought I'd run install thoughts by this board. Thanks for the help Doug. I know the dealor I'm getting the part from has the tool, so I'll trace the tool and make a template. I'm glad you mentioned the 900. I'll compare it to the 900 one and see if a universal tool can be designed. I have a thought on this tool, and hesitate to make comments now, but I think I've figured out how to make a working Substitute extremely cheap and easy. I noticed in the parts book that the 99 clutch tool is the same for all the other vintage Saabs, so if I figure it out, we'd all benefit. If it works out, I'll pass on the design to the Board.
