1973 was the first year for the EMS as well as the "B" motor. Even my 99E came with the 2.0L motor which came in two different versions, the "E" engine and the "C" engine. The "E" being the Electronic d-jet injection and the "C" being the carbureted version. See the attached link for info on the 73 model.
