After being without "the crazy car" for over a month I am happy to be driving her again. For those of you who think me mad, My eventual plan is 16V turbo with DI. The LH conversion is just an intermediate step. I used a Bosch D-jet intake manifold (pain in the but to fit the idle speed motor on it!), turbo injectors, and LH 2.4 off an '89 900T. I finally hooked up an oxygen sensor yesterday and it made a large difference in how the car ran. I also used the Hall ignition off of the '89 900T since the inductive ignition signal really confused the LH computer and made it think htat the car was in decel mode when I would open the throttle. I keep on reaching for the choke handle (had a carb) but to no avail. The car is still running rather lean w/o the oxy sensor hooked up so I am putting in injectors from a VW corrado G60 with a slightly higher flow rate (238 cc.min vs. 214 cc/min) than the stock turbo ones. Yes they are 16 ohm injectors. Pics soon after I get the bird's nest of wiring tidied up.
