That's a tough one because no one I know has modeled their Saab business specifically around perfomance. EVERYBODY has advice, but who has actually tried out their own opinions? I know Paul Perry of Swedish Auto Factory down in Santa Clara actually races his own Sonnet (and other cars over the years). I know it's a bit of a distance, but he'd be good to talk to. Also Ben over at Saab Replay in Berkeley has done some perfomance work on his own cars (he fitted an entire Viggen drivetrain to a 900). But frankly, there are almost no racers at Sears Point or the local Solo II autocrosses around here that show up in Saabs. And it's the racers that can usually give you the most practical, cost effective advice. Bit of a shame. But as said here earlier, the Internet is great for a resource. Just Google "Saab performance parts" or check the Performance BB here at Saabnet.
