Shawn posting articulates many of my own thoughts as well. At some point, participation in SCNA will make sense for BASC. We'll need to figure out what and when that might be. I'm certain that even if BASC were not to pay to join SCNA at this time, the club would be more than welcomed into the fold whenever the time came. It's definitely not a limited time offer deal. If the programs and services of SCNA became desireable to BASC and its members, that's probably a good indication that it's time to join. For now, Cliff and Roger have done a wonderful job resurecting this club from the dust and I think that's where the focus should be anyway.
I have my new issue of NINES and hope to sit down and read the column this weekend.
As for the TSN site stance (and myself naturally - beyond participation in BASC), I'm 100% behind SCNA and will put in a bunch of effort to help the national club officers in whichever endeavors they choose to tackle. The one thing I'm very excited about is SCNA's involvment in the National Saab Convention. SCNA has saved the convention from dying out and I look forward to attending next year's convention in Hershey PA!
