I have a 2011 9-5 Aero, bought new right after Spyker went down. Other than a coolant hose leak recently and a burned out tail light (easy fix), the car has been flawless to 50K. The only ongoing issue is that its fussy to balance the tires (load force balancing is all that works). I like the car a lot.
But understand the risks. You have those independent Saab mechanics that refuse to work on them, but the Saab dealership nearest me continues to provide service. There are obviously issues with some parts - most mechanical appear available - but for example, you can't find a rear taillight assembly if you happen to break one. So if you get in a fender-bender, you might be wise to back up and hit'em again :)
