Starter Motor for 2011 Saab 9-5 Turbo 4

Needed a starter motor for a 2011 Saab 9-5 Turbo 4, but no one seems to have any listing for this. However, in browsing through Amazon starter selections we spotted this item, and it looked just like the one we needed to replace.

NEW STARTER COMPATIBLE WITH EUROPEAN SAAB 9-3

Listed on Amazon for $83 !! - though not applicable for this model. Also listed as being supplied by Rareelectric, so contacted them directly but they claim they do not carry any starter for this vehicle.

But the photo here showed it to look EXACTLY like the one we needed - so we went ahead and ordered it from Amazon.

Arrived 2 days sooner than expected. Item appeared to be exactly the same - even took key measurements. All good. Could not find any ID on old part as it was so rusted, other than "AC Delco Remy" cast in the solenoid end.
Installed - fit perfectly. Hooked up and success! Such a deal and now we are back in business.

Wish companies would have more accurate application listings.
