I've had eight OG 9-5s and can't seem to quit Saab. I keep seeing NG 9-5s pop up locally and am increasingly tempted. Now that you own one or have owned one, would you buy again? I can accept the risk of an accident that won't be insured. And I think I can handle difficulty getting parts. For the last several of my OG 9-5s, I went through a repeat cycle--have fun sorting out the usual stuff, then felt the need to sell when something unusual happened (broken ventilation drum that wouldn't rotate anymore, even by hand) or just got overwhelmed by too many things at once or something I couldn't solve (like bucking/skipping/hesitation under heavy load); then regret after selling and a growing itch for a special car that nothing else seems to scratch. The OGs are getting old, and I've always wanted the last Saab, the OG 9-5, preferrably with the four cylinder. What's it like out there driving and maintaining these now? Have I waited too long?
