Thanks Chad. Your suggestion is possible if the balancing shafts do not have position sensors. According to my dealer there are not fault readings from disgnostics. My dealer's first attempt was to replace the entire exhaust from the turbo up to the mufflers based on the location of noise, however this did not resolve the problem. The vibration/noise is still there (and always much higher at 1250 rpm) irregardless or whether the engine is powering or braking the car. I'm thinking that this rules out any kind of fuel injection issue (??). The car is going back to the dealer in about a week for another investigations. If anyone out there has/has had a similar problem please share your experience because my dealer does not know what to look at next. Thanks
