Here's the follow-up on the brake module replacement.
Car in-service April 17th, 2012.
Parking brake malfunctioned - since ~5k miles. Completely dead since ~18k miles.
$821.49 Total for r&r of new brake module, p/n 13505410.
As of April 3rd, 2013, it's still working well.
Brought car in on Feb. 9th, 2013
Mileage: 20,086.

Paid for service and ordered new brake module on Feb 11th, 2013
New brake module.
Receipt says:
13505410 F-Module $370 +$30.53 tax = $400.53
No charge for diagnosis.
Free car wash.
Free oil change (see separate post about this – dealer wants nothing to do with Saab Secure program, but they comp'ed me the oil change anyway.)
Full synthetic oil.
Returned car to dealer, Mar 12th, 2013, 6:30 PM, after brake module arrived.
Mileage: 22,045.
Free loaner, 2013 Cadillac SRX

Faulty parking brake control module.
3.00 check for fault codes. Code C028A 04 Park Brake Motor Circuit, Open.
Diag, Repl and Programmed parking brake control module, NEC to SPS and Calibrate control module (Readings attached to RO).
Tested Parking Brake operation OK.
Picked up car on March 13th 4:20 PM.
Labor $420.96
$400.53 part and tax on Feb 11th.
$420.96 labor on March 13th.
