I had the same set of problems (as have others on this board) on my 2010 Aero about a year ago. My dealer (former Saab dealer now Chevy) did try flash updates to no avail. I ended up replacing the entire Nav unit ($$$) and haven't had issues since.

Before you go down this path, search this board for other suggestions for the Nav problem. I think some found a s/w update did work for them.
