All depending on what the shop noticed or not, the new power steering fluid (Pentosin CHF11S) from late 97 and up seems to find its way out everywhere on both Saab's and Volvo's (Volvo started to use it in around 99) without leaving any traces of leak.

Your car might not leak at all if no visible signs were found but it is just normal evaporation and adding fluid now and then could be enough.
