All early production rear seals leak and are well into it at 100K.
Better MPGs with the 0W40 does not surprise me at all. You engine should be quieter and smoother too.
Get the leaking oil at the bell housing on your finger and sniff it. Used engine oil in the turbos smells like fuel. Manual gear box oil smells bad. Can't say about autobox oil.
