Hey, I've got a '96 900s Conv, and my clutch cable recently snapped on me, so I took my car up to the dealer and had it replaced, for an insane $270. I spoke with the mechanic and he told me that the clutch itself looked like it was on its way out the door, and that I should get it replaced soon. I don't really feel like giving the soul of my firstborn to the dealer to replace my clutch, so I'm kind of interested in doing it myself. I was wondering how difficult it was, should I attempt it, or should I shop around for a cheaper mechanic and save myself the hassle?
