The low oil pressure switch has failed, they all seem to be doing that. it is below the intake manifold. Check autozone et al for replacements. You need to know if the pressure fails completely. Ground the wire that goes to the switch and the light will go on, if you want to check that. And when enine is shut down, the switch termial should be connected to ground. They fail stuck open.
The pressure relief valve is easy to check. It faces downward, on the front corner of the timing chain. Perhaps you have to pull a plastic cover to get at it, but access is easy! If the pressure relief switch is in good order, then you probably have to pull the TC cover and inspect things. If the balance chains are bad, as is more often than TC, you can remove the balance chain and block off the oil flow to the balance chain tensioner, or renew the balance chain and guides etc.
