Several days ago I posted about the secondary amp on my '96 900SE not working. The door mid-bass speakers were not working so I replaced the passenger side one and gave it a test- I could barely hear anything at full volume. AT that point I asked the board about the amplifier.

Yesterday I had some free time so I decided to replace the driver side door speaker in anticipation of either bringing my amp to an electronic shop or looking for a new one. To my suprise the drivers side speaker works- sort of. The old drivers side cone ripped itself from the frame. The new speaker looks like it is about to do the same at an average volume. It also does not sound right. So now I know the amp is boosting the signal to one speaker at nothing to the other.

Any thoughts as to what is going on?
