I have a '95 900SE V6 convertible in great shape and I'd be very happy to get $4300 for it. Not being a convertible I would think the price is a bit high.
School of thought seems to be that '94 was the worst year as they worked the bugs out of a new model. Others more technical than me might comment on that in more detail.
The V6 is notorious for major failures due to the timing belt slipping or breaking, even if you've kept up with the maintenance. I've never had any problems, but if you do a search here on this BB you'll read of many poor souls who were not so fortunate. You have to replace it every 30K, although I think some say the new kit is good for 60K. SAAB pays for the first 3, but at that mileage you're on your own and I think it averages around $600. You definitely want to check when that was done last, as well as the frequency of oil changes.
Hope this helps.
Good luck.
